Back in 2018, I got my first button machine. It's the walmart machine that I still use to make my temporary 1in buttons with plastic backs. I had never done button making before. I had just seen buttons and patches at different punk shows and wanted to try my hand at making some. Now through primarily button sales, I have donated several hundred dollars to mental health charities, and have been able to release amazing artists and bands music on cassette and Cd. I would not have had the funds without selling buttons.

To get to the point, I opened up the machine back in 2018. At the time, I was a full-time worker and care-giver. I was exhausted, and had little free time. I opened the box sometime in the evening right before bed, and my first button I scribbled, "Please Don't Suck" I didn't have much free time or money so I was really hoping that the button machine would be something I was able to do and that I didn't waste my money on. Turns out, I loved it.
